Purchased the Crosshair 2.0 in Jul 2010. Overall, very happy with the quality of the optics and fit of the sunglasses. However, by Nov 2010, the rubberized temple sleeves have started to split. I called Oakley to get some replacement sleeves, and was told I would have to send the sunglasses in for warranty. I asked Oakley to cover the cost of shipping, due to the glasses only being four months old. Customer service rep came back and said “no” the temple sleeves aren’t really part of the glasses, and that the sleeves probably split because of sunscreen or oil getting on them. I’ve owned Oakley sunglasses for almost 20 years. This is the first time I’ve had a problem with the sleeves splitting. Poor customer service on Oakley’s part, especially for a set of sunglasses at this price. Recommend the sunglasses with the caveat that Oakley will not stand behind their product when things go wrong.

I wear this jacket to about 25 degrees without a long sleeve base layer. After that you can layer up and stay warm. The coldest I rode last year was 4 degrees F wearing this, an under armour coldgear mock turtle neck, and an under armour heatgear compression shirt.

The only problem with it is if I’m riding between about 35 and 45 degrees my forearms sweat. Nothing else is hot, just from my wrists to my elbows. It’s bad enough that I need to turn the jacket inside out to let that section dry out. It’s almost as if the moisture wicking stops at the elbows.

I was so excited to get these shoes.. and so disappointed when they didn’t fit I wear a 10.5 and these shoes were too small.. I’m thinking an 11 would fit much better. I can’t comment on the comfortableness or or durability, but I would suggest thinking about ordering a half size up from what you normally wear. Good luck! They are cool looking

The North Face Denali is a great fleece, however the 2009 Denali’s are made quite different – they are lighter because they use less layers of fleece, are made with all recycled materials, and are made in Mexico as opposed to the older versions made in El Salvador (this can be seen clearly on the tag). If you do your research, the 2009 version is commonly considered a much lower quality than the older versions.

I bought these when they were heavily discounted. For the price I paid, I’m happy with them. They have a very loose cut compared to what I’m used to, but you’ll appreciate it if you want them to hang over your muck boots. They would still pass for casual attire in a lot of places. Stitching is on par with Carhartt, which means the fabric will wear out before the seams do. Pockets are reinforced to accommodate clip knives and multitools, which is cool. Fabric appears to be identical to the lighter-weight Carhartt stuff, meaning that I would wear them if I was raking leaves or on a long hike, but not if I was clearing brush or framing a house, so if you want ruff ‘n tuff work pants, these ain’t it. For super-heavy-duty pants that are comparably-priced, try a certain high-end work wear company from, ahem, Duluth.
